CORAZON DE MELON

Corazón De Melón is the alter ego of Sir-Siljian Silfa—a Dominican-born, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer shaped by rhythm, community, and years in the underground. Raised by a musician father and rooted in the pulse of New York, his sound brings warmth and weight in equal measure. Classic 90s house is the anchor, but everything from soul, jazz, hip-hop, and disco threads its way in—raw, fluid, and deeply intentional.

His sets are built to breathe. No gimmicks, no shortcuts—just thoughtful selections and slow-burning energy that lingers long after the night ends. Releases like Musica Que Envolve, Drop Dat, and “Who’s Piano Is This” carry that same spirit—groove-heavy, textured, and emotionally tuned.

From playing Bossa Nova Civic Club and TBA Brooklyn to dropping records on Good Company and theBasement Discos, Corazón De Melón continues to carve out a space that feels both grounded and expansive.
